“The Goat in Search of the Sun”

A trip-performance in the open air for small and brave spectators

“Once there lived a Goat… She was so gay and cheerful that she danced and sang songs all the days and all the nights. But one day she amused herself so much that she didn't even noticed that she had stepped onto a Snake…” From this very moment adventures of a gay Goat begin. She and the spectators altogether start hard and dangerous wandering to save the Sun from the Snake Gorynych.

The performance moves on. On their way brave wanderers meet a Stork who is a guard, an old Witch, a Forest Fair, the Fire-bird… The Goat is gay and responsive, it helps her to find the way to the Snake. And, with the help of her bayan and the support of small spectators, the Goat manages to set the bright Sun in the sky again.

The premiere was in June 2007 in Kobrin children's home.
